Welcome to The Gloss Bar. We are a Brisbane based make-up and hair styling studio with our own boutique range of expertly formulated lipsticks, glosses and glazes.
We cater specialised beauty services to weddings, formal occasions and fashion parades and events, offering our clients superior make-up artistry and hair styling in the convenience of their own homes.
Creative Director, Laura Price has devoted her life to making the women of Brisbane look and feel their best. The Gloss Bar was established in 2012 and since then it has grown into a large team of highly qualified and experienced stylists who travel all areas of Queensland and beyond.
Laura’s love of fashion and celebrity style keeps The Gloss Bar at the forefront of current trends.
Aside from running the business and managing her glamorous girls, Laura spent time developing her own line of exquisite lip wear. The range was especially designed for her clients. She wanted to create long lasting and nourishing lipsticks, glosses and glazes that they could take with them after their stying appointments.
They now come in a HUGE range of fashionable colours and finishes that are available for purchase nationally at selected stores and pop-up bars as well as distributing world-wide from the online shop www.theglossbar.com.au.
The Gloss Bar long-wearing lip products are enriched with vitamin E to moisturise, repair and protect your lips. They’ve been intricately crafted and allergy tested (but not on animals), are hypoallergenic, fragrance free and non-comedogenic. So, not only do they look and feel great, they’re good for you too. The products all come individually boxed and with a complete list of ingredients.
Since its launch, The Gloss Bar has grown a successful following and has featured in many reputable publications and blogs including Style Magazine, The Courier Mail and beautyheaven.com.au.
Our products are being worn by some of Queensland’s top style icons including Seven Network’s Great South East Presenter, Liz Cantor, B105 Radio Host, Abby Coleman, Big Brother/Apprentice contestant and the face of Quicktrim Australia, Layla Subritzky as well as number of glamorous Queensland WAGS.
